I did try to clean up the mess he so carelessly made as soon as it happened because he spilled it right in front of me but it happened so suddenly that I didn`t have any time at all to react, jump or dive to the rescue of my candle and its content! All I had time to do was pick up a few warm & “gunky” piece of wax but, unfortunately for me, it became solid very soon afterwards, almost as hard as a rock.

What should I do? Replace our new carpet, which wasn`t cheap to begin with as you can imagine, or replace my clumsy boyfriend instead for a more careful one?

Better yet, does anyone out there know how to remove hardened candlewax from any carpet?!? PLEASE HELP ME ASAP!!! Our living room looks awful now after this silly & mindless incident!!!
