I’m having a party and it needs candles. However, I was wondering if it’s possible to make your own cheaper candles without having to buy expensive store bought candles that you’re only going to use once. Suggestions? Opinions? Sites to look at? Thanks for your help!

Unless you are making a special candle, like something you would not expect to find in a store. I’d buy them, candle making is very messy and the expense would be the same - save yourself the trouble.
Making candles is a messy process. Finding supplies isn’t easy, and buying the supplies and equipment is rather expensive. Just buy them.
For one time use you should be able to find candles much cheaper than the cost of wax.
